Archery

I impatiently wait surrounded
by trees
While the tutor explains how to load a bow.
Hurry up.

I hoist up the bow and arrow, and
grip the handle,
Wanting to invade
The target’s territory.

I'm ready to shoot.
I cling to the string and
aim at the Bulls eye
"Ping".

The arrow  cascades
through the air.
"Strike"
I hit the bullseye.
I waddle up to the target,
Clasp the arrow and pull,
the tip emerges
from the hay.

I am overjoyed
about my archery
lesson
and my great shot.
